Our budget track bike has morphed into quite the versatile machine, even though the design is much the same as it’s always been. The Pista is first and foremost built for the track, with a stout steel frame and correct geometry (high bottom bracket, shallow fork offset). But the Pista sees a lot of action away from the velodrome too, as a fixed-gear trainer, an urban messenger “work bike,” and an expression of personal style. Maybe you’ve seen one out there—you can’t miss the Pista’s two knockout colors.

Highlights: Double-butted chrome-moly frame and fork, available in Gang Green or Chrome. Truvativ 48-tooth crank (with 16-tooth fixed rear cog). Bianchi Alex Solo wheels.
