XL BORON/CHORUS Generation XL High Performance Boron triple-butted steel. Main tubes are pulse TIG welded, with cable guides then micro-fused to avoid excessive heating of thin walls. Redesigned for 2003, new profile oversized MegaTube Evolution downtube. ZeroFlex stays. Specially developed in-house heat treatment to eliminate post-welding stresses. Structural foam injection. New 1-1/8" oversized headtube. The same frame as the Boron/Centaur, but with a 20-speed Campy Chorus group. Also available as a frameset with full carbon fork.
