IBEX
Ibex rear suspension The entire rear triangle is a single-pivot trailing link, the simplest, most reliable way to control rear suspension. The carefully calculated pivot axis location, slightly above and slightly ahead of the bottom bracket, limits wheelbase change, assures that pedaling force does not cause 'pogoing", and supports the rear triangle where the frame is strongest. Unlike the more com-monly seen rocker shock linkage, our asymmet-ric tri-pivot linkage both adds rigidity to the rear triangle and changes shock compression from linear to progressive. 75 mm of fully adjustable travel, with lockout.
For those who prefer full suspension (see side-bar). The RockShox Sid XC Dual Air rear shock and Duke Race fork are infinitely adjustable to conditions and riding style, and have lockouts for when you want the ride of a hardtail.
