In 1987, we designed and introduced the multi-talented Volpe. This newborn was difficult to pigeonhole as it conveniently skirted all categories of then-current bicycle styles. The genius of its simple concept of offering a bicycle equally at ease on or off-road opened the door for people who might otherwise never experience the liberation cycling offers. No longer is it necessary to ride the fine line of compromise between mountain and road bikes. Options are now available to anyone wanting to explore them. The Cross-Terrain® line throws a new playground’s gate wide open to a doublewide path (be it dirt or asphalt) allowing seamless access to the best of all worlds.
We’ve introduced a new sub-group to the category called Café Racer. We offer two models: for the ultimate “townie” bike there’s the curvaceous 7-speed Milano and for the over-achiever set there’s the electronic self-shifting Auto-Milano. Both Milano models have won global admiration as well as accolades for their creative homage to old world elegance artistically framed in new world grace. There are five other Cross-Terrain® models offered to take you wherever you want to go.
