The Italy-based team managed by Roberto Marrone met journalists and sponsors to present its 2010 17-man roster.

Bianchi Managing Director Bob Ippolito and Product Manager Lars Svalin also attended the team presentation as Bianchi supplies the team with their new 928 SL IASP model, top of the 2010 range.

The team bike has an aggressive design and the feedback from the riders is very positive.

"Actually I really love my Bianchi bike" -- Riccardo Ricco stated during the team press conference -- "as it guarantees comfort and best stiffness to weight ratio. I'm not just saying this to please Bianchi as a sponsor. I truly believe the new Bianchi is fantastic and I'm proud to ride a bike that made the history of cycling with Coppi, Gimondi and Pantani."

Also Felice Gimondi was at the team presentation and said Ceramica Flaminia deserves the invitation to the Giro d'Italia:

"Ricco is definitely one of the best climbers in the bunch and he's ready to lead a strong team at the Giro d'Italia. He will make it hard for the overall competitors."

The main feature of the 928 SL IASP is the integrated seatpost which improves the frame rigidity and reactivity. The innovative technology called WMP (Wrinkle Molding Process) optimizes the molding process during the construction and reduces the weight of the frame (only 1.020 kg). In addition the Nano Technology enhance crack resistance of the frame that is built with high modulus fibers Toho UM40 - IM600 - UT500. The 928 SL IASP has a full carbon fork (315g) with internal structural reinforcement TSR (Technology Section Reinforcement).
