Cominelli leads TX Active-Bianchi at the Internazionali d’Italia - Round 2
TX Active-Bianchi team is looking for a good performance at Round 2 of the Italian XCO challenge in Montichiari, Brescia, Italy.
TX Active-Bianchi team's 5-man line-up: Italian Champion Cristian Cominelli (winner of the Under 23 Internazionali d'Italia overal standing in 2009), French Stephane Tempier, Colombia’s Julio Caro and National Champion Leonardo Paez, winner of the Internazionali d'Italia Elite classification.
Following a good start at the Internazionali d’Italia opening event in Massa Marittima (Tuscany), TX Active-Bianchi team is looking for a good performance at Round 2 of the Italian XCO challenge in Montichiari – Brescia (Northern Italy), on Sunday March 14.
Team manager Massimo Ghirotto will feature a strong five-man line-up including Colombian’s duo Leonardo Paez and Julio Caro, French Stephane Tempier, Portugal’s Ricardo Marinheiro and Italian Cristian Cominelli. MTB team-relay World Champion is determined to do well on home-soil in front of his numerous tifosi: “I know my condition is better than last year – Cominelli said - and I’d like to perform well.
I will try to keep the front of the race from the very beginning and then we will see”. “The race course is very technical. It will be a tough day but I have extra motivation”, Cominelli added.
Also in the race there will be the TX Active-Bianchi junior team with Cesare Fognini, Filippo Galli and Edoardo Togni. Junior manager Andrea Ferrero will direct the three talented young bikers.
