2010 XCO World Championships are just around the corner (September 1-5) and the TX Active-Bianchi team is approaching the most important international MTB event with high spirit.
Bianchi MTB team's President Felice Gimondi and team manager Massimo Ghirotto are proud and happy to announce that Stephane Tempier, Cristian Cominelli and Ricardo Marinheiro have been selected by their respective national teams to contest the World Championship race in Mont-Sainte-Anne (Canada). That means three Bianchi Methanol SL Team Edition models will once again be in the action at the highest level.
French Elite rider Tempier, recent winner of the fourth and final round of the French Cup series, will fly to America today (Tuesday August 24th) and before moving to Mont-Sainte-Anne will face the sixth round of the UCI World Cup in Windham, where he is expected to perform another solid race.
Team Relay World reigning Champion Cristian Cominelli will fly tomorrow, Wednesday, to Canada to represent Italy whilst Portuguese Ricardo Marinheiro (Junior vice-World Champion in 2009) will leave on Sunday 29th. Also TX Active-Bianchi's mechanic Gabriele Rossi will be in Canada as he will be part of the Italian national staff.
Cominelli and Marinheiro will race the Under 23 event on Friday 3rd whilst Elite Tempier will compete on Saturday 4th.
